David Wei holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Finance, an MBA in International Business, and a PhD in Biomedical Science. With over two decades of experience in investment and asset management in the UK, David began his career at the China Foreign Investment Promotion Agency before moving to international organisations.
David is a prominent figure in the Chinese business community in the UK. He serves as the Chairman of the China-Britain International Business Association (CBI), President of the Chinese Real Estate Association, President of the Chinese Landlords Association, Vice President of the Chinese Collectors Association, and Honorary Chairman of the International Collectors Association, among other notable roles.
He is also the founder of Affinity Group and Sunny Way Group. Under his leadership, Affinity Global successfully listed on the GXG Market in 2014. Currently, David manages multi-million-pound funds across Europe and oversees several trusts and investment funds. His extensive experience includes guiding international investors and institutions in acquiring overseas projects and facilitating Chinese companies in managing real estate investments abroad. He has also advised investment institutions from Europe, the US, and the Middle East on strategic investments in China.
